As my children have grown, I have slowly been able to build my business.  I first started out as a Music Teacher-running small groups for adults and children once a week, but then decided to add in a baby and toddler music group. After a while, people were asking if I offered parties for children....and so the rest, as they say was history. I am truly blessed that I can have such a varied career, which includes teaching, childrens entertainment and performing

I have previous experience of being lead singer for a rock covers band as well as Indie based covers band Lot 105. More recently I have provided dep cover for popular local covers bands, 'Scandal' and 'Gravity' and have future dates coming up with a well respected local Soul Band 'Soul Enforcement Bureau'

My name is Carrie and I founded Herts & Voices in January 2016.  Before setting up Herts & Voices  I was busy raising my very young children...but.... I wanted to work in the right job that suited the needs of my family-as well as utilising my qualifications and experience

. In my opinion, there was no such job out there for me-so I decided to create my own. It has been the best thing I have ever done and I get to meet some truly amazing people!​

​I obtained a BA Hons Degree in Performing Arts (specialising in Music) from Middlesex University and then went on to teach Music to KS3 in a classroom setting for a short while before having my children.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, as well as full public liability insurance.
